Attempts the explanation

From the circumstances collected above, several variations result to explain the name of Pr?ner, if there he/it in its typed variation and there appears:

          1. the name represents a local assignment and means, that human being has his/its home in the area the kingdom of Prussia - he/it is on trips, trade, diplomacy, and receives this addition lent.

2., how 1.) that human being has left his/its life-area and receives his/its " surname ", in which his/its origin expresses itself on a landscape or administration-area, - what not necessarily a neutral or dear-free and friendly statement must represent, sees digression to " Turk ",

3.) the concentration of a names of this stamping indicates on it that was marked a bigger group of people after her/its/their origin here.

Area sticks for Spektulation with the search after the reason for this, appearance strengthens. Completely it refrained from the fact that I am still unknown when this increased appearance took place Lippe-Detmold " in the area ". Also origin and occasion could be viewed with it near then and could be represented.

4.) at the moment it sticks I with my speculation that the Prüßner's in the area are refugee lip, in the extreme-case as consequence a Genuzid of the German decoration, sees above,; in the area the rather likely it lies for me at the moment that it is about an escape-movement from economic backgrounds, for example: famine,

DIGRESSION:

A surname is not simply only one origin-name

In the area of the community Hemmingen (south from Hanover) has protected itself until into the time about 1960/1970 the showiness that again the inhabitants of the village " Wilkenburg ", originally church parish-seat for the surrounding villages, that inhabitant of the neighboring village " named Arnum " as " de T?ken ", " Heut' komm'n de Türken to us "!. in, to find explanation for this naming, first pushed with the natives on ignorance. " That was always so "! and " T?ke " had to be equated with " Turk " in any case, that was certain in both villages. - A gaze into old records brought the plausible explanation with itself then: Not only addition-taxes had to be taken away in the context with the " Turk-wars ", but caught soldiers had to become cause. So, the request came also on the " Kirchspiel Wilkenburg " to find a money-sum for Arnumer Soldaten to free her/it/them from the hand of the Turks... that was about 1690 - in the Wilkenburger church is incidentally also a chandelier to it to find with a Saracen that a scimitar einKettenhemd swings and carries.

Prussia - the second:

    Pruzzen + Prussen + Bruzi + Bruz + Pruzai + Prutheni + Borussi..

The name " of Prussen " brings in after present-day knowledge the " Bavarian geographer " in a writing into the history. He/it wrote mentioned between 866 and 960 a handwriting in her/it he/it from the " Bruzi ". The Spanish merchant Ibrahim ibn Jacob names her/it/them in his/its trip-report " Brus ". the people itself named itself " Prusai "; some scholar marked her/it/them " Prutheni " and also " Borussi ".

The Pruzzen belonged the baltic language-family, was a baltic branch of the Indo-Germanic stock consequently, lived from agriculture and cattle-raising, hunters and fishers were, served Naturgotheiten and possessed a sanctuary at least, the " sacred grove Romowe ". Slav had already ventured about 600 up to the coast left of the Weichsel; Danes had landed 925 at the Samlandk?te, had subjugated the inhabitants and had taken root. First attempts of a Christianisierung in the 10. and 11. Had failed century, as called 1225 Konrads of Masowien the German decoration about help, about which to convert Prussen to the Christianity, and the decoration there his/its own state established. The losses of the Prussen with the conversion and subjugation through the decoration, the following wars and epidemics, above all the plague, necessitated a Völkernachschub century-long. So, history grew together from the most different trunks in a millennium that " trunk ", that we are in the habit of marking as " Ostpreußen ".
